FIRST Tech Challenge at the Königin Katharina Stift
The FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) is a robotics competition that gets young students excited about STEM and we have been taking part since 2011. The competition was launched by the nonprofit organization FIRST . Over the course of several months, the students have to develop, build and program a robot that has to complete the new annual task. However, the assessment is not just about the robots themselves; true to the motto "more than robots", the students must also network with other teams and people outside the competition. All of this work cannot be completed alone due to the amount of tasks involved, which is why good teamwork is required for success.
